This course offers an in-depth exploration of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the cornerstone of federal procurement policies and procedures. Over two days, participants will engage with the structure, simplifications, and evolutions of the FAR, enhancing their understanding of its role within the federal acquisition landscape. Emphasis will be placed on learning foundational knowledge, where learners will explore in detail the FAR’s scope and structure and gain practical insights into navigating essential official resources efficiently. Further expansion will include FAR advanced concepts, including the use of practitioner albums, agency-specific supplements, and strategies for managing compliance and risk inherent in FAR-based procurements.
