Beau Barnett

Beau Barnett, CEO

As the CEO, ​Mr. Barnett has been an operational acquisitions professional and instructor for over 21 years. As an active instructor, Mr. Barnett continually demonstrates his operational contracting knowledge and professional training capabilities at multiple agencies on a real-time basis. His college degrees include an AA degree in Contract Management from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), a BS degree from Embry-Riddle University in Business Management, and an MS degree from the University of Oklahoma in Public Administration. ​ Beau is a Service-Disabled Veteran who proudly served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Navy.

Laura Holstein, President

Ms. Holstein serves as President of Stafford Consulting Company, where she leads the firm’s strategy, operations, and delivery of high‑quality training and professional support services for federal clients. She brings more than 20 years of combined public‑ and private‑sector experience, including 16 years as a Federal civil servant and a decade as a warranted Supervisory Contracting Officer and procurement analyst with the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Since joining SCC in 2019, she has advanced through roles such as Acquisition Subject Matter Expert, Director of Curriculum Development, Director of Business Development, and Senior Vice President. She holds FAC‑C and FAC‑COR Level III certifications, is a certified MBTI practitioner, and earned dual bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Economics along with a master’s degree in Government from The Johns Hopkins University. Outside of work, she enjoys tending her hobby farm and operating an apiary.

Shelley Hand

Shelley Hand, Vice President of Education & Training

Ms. Hand serves as the Vice President of Education and Training, where she oversees training events, coordinates instructor support, and helps guide curriculum initiatives for Stafford Consulting Company, Inc.’s training division. She brings more than 15 years of experience in education and program coordination and is a dedicated advocate for service members and for delivering excellent customer service to clients of all backgrounds. A former teacher and clinical placement coordinator, she is passionate about building thorough, versatile instructional programs. Outside of work, Ms. Hand volunteers as an English tutor for Speakers of Other Languages, supports nonprofits that further educational opportunities for marginalized youth, and remains active in her local community.

Jacquelyn Garrett, Vice President of Operations

Ms. Garrett serves as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing organizational operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring alignment across departments to support overall business objectives. She brings a well‑rounded background spanning accounting, customer service, and human resources operations, enabling an approach that blends operational efficiency with a strong focus on people and service. She holds a degree in Accounting from Purdue Global and maintains both an HR Certificate and the SHRM‑CP certification. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her pets and volunteering with local animal shelters.

Rebecca Magaju, Director of Administration

Ms. Magaju leads the HR department, overseeing recruiting and supporting efforts to build strong teams and a positive workplace. She brings a background in business administration and human resources, holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri–St. Louis as well as an HR Certificate. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dachshund, Snoop.
