Description

This course is designed for contracting professionals who work or are expecting to work, in positions requiring FAC-C Level III certification in contracting. Through realistic scenario-based and research-based learning, students will work individually and collaboratively to practice developing sound business solutions as valued strategic and expert business advisors. Student coursework is designed to contribute real solutions to real acquisition problems to senior leadership and local supervisors.

Learning Objectives

  • The student, while serving in the role of contracting supervisor, will successfully identify various methods of motivating and alleviating employee stress for individuals who are dealing with constant change in the contracting work environment.
  • The student, while serving in the role of a contracting leader, will determine risk mitigation techniques to use in a contracting related problem.
  • The student, while serving in the role of a contracting leader, will suppose the perspective of an industry and senior Government contracting leader to an assigned contracting policy issue.
