Competitive Salary

  • Competitive salaries are offered employees based on prevailing industry rates and conditions
  • Candidates are offered salaries commensurate with their skill level, level of education, and with their years of experience
  • Multiple levels of corporate review are conducted to ensure reasonable salaries and to ensure lowest cost to the government

Education

  • Eligibility SCC fringe benefits pertain to full-time employees only who meet a minimum requirement of 30 hours per week

Escalation

  • SCC builds escalation and inflation in our proposals and contracts
  • This yearly escalation is passed to our employees upon successful review cycles and on job performance

Vacation (PTO)

  • Personal Time Off (PTO) (includes sick days, vacation, and personal time)
    • 0-2 years 80 hours (2 weeks accrued at 6.66 hours per month)
    • 3-5 years 120 hours (3 weeks accrued at 10 hours per month)
    • 5-7 years 160 hours (4 weeks accrued at 13.33 hours per month)
    • 7-10 years 200 hours (5 weeks accrued at 16.66 hours per month)
    • 10+ years 240 hours (6 weeks accrued at 20.00 hours per month)

Sick Leave Included in PTO

  • Holidays 10

Military Leave

  • Handled on a case-by- case basis

Jury Duty

  • Included in PTO

Medical Insurance

  • SSC offers its employees and dependents participation in an ACA GOLD level CareFirst PPO health plans, a regular PPO with an associated Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
  • All employees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible to participate
  • Stafford Consulting pays 75% of the premium for medical coverage on a 75/25 split plan.

Dental Care

  • Dental Plan is thru Delta Dental

Vision Care

  • BlueVision Plus through CareFirst

Disability Insurance

  • SCC provides its employees participation in Short and Long Term Disability Insurance
  • All employees who work 30 or more hours per week are included in the plan
  • Coverage will become effective on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment
  • SCC will pay 100% of the premium. Disability benefit is 60% of monthly earnings to a maximum benefit of $6,000 per month with an Elimination Period of 90 days

Life Insurance

  • SCC provides its employees Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
  • All employees who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the plan
  • Coverage will become effective on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment
  • SCC pays 100% of the premium. Employees are eligible for 1X their annual earnings to a maximum of $100,000.00

Accidental Death & Dismemberment

  • SCC pays 100% of the premium

401K, Retirement

  • Employees hired on or after January 1, 2013 will be eligible on the 1st day of profit Sharing service of the month following 90 days of employment
  • An employee can make a salary deferral contribution of $17,500 in a tax year with anyone over the age of 50 be able to defer an additional $5,500 into their account
  • An employee may choose to defer either pre-tax money into the plan with the combined maximum still being $17,500
  • SCC matches 50% of employee contributions up to 3% of salary
  • These contributions are 100% vested to the employee immediately

Educational Assistance

  • $2500 per year in education/training reimbursement in any fields related to employment
  • Employee must maintain an above C average for courses or pass certification courses
  • Employees are eligible for this benefit after the first 90 days of employment
  • Employee will also be required to sign a one year additional commitment to remain employed with Stafford Consulting (if employee defaults on this commitment, the training/education must be paid back to SCC)
